This piece includes a hinged, Sterling Silver screen that opens up to a bird, which also represents hands that fold together. When tipping the locket forward, the word 'Shine' is revealed. Included with the locket is a velum sheet with the lyrics of the song to enhance the aesthetic of the locket.
